Today is a wonderful day. Today was my first day back to work from vacation. I walked in and saw tons of smiling familiarfaces. I felt comfortable and relaxed. It was great to see all the kids. I swear they grow up so fast! I love my job and I love that I make a difference in peoples lives. I was sitting outside with the kids at the sandbox and I just felt so peaceful. I know I would most definitely be a different person if I did not work there. I catch myself laughing and smiling all the time when I’m hanging out with the kids or my awesome co-workers. On my way out I ran into one of my great friends and we talked and laughed for a minute. Sometiems I feel like I live in a movie ha ha If my life was a movie it would definitely be a comedy.

Love.Four letters. Four simple simple simple little letters. Not hard to spell or say but so hard to find. My world is based off of things that I know. I know I’m young, I know that I don’t know everything, I know what I want, I definitely know what I don’t want. Yet I don’t know how love happens or how long it lasts or why it’s such a huge deal in the first place. Sometimes it seems like the whole world is just looking for love and that’s all I can see on TV or on the Internet, I have about 200 quotes about love, heartbreak and relationships. I’m a girl so I tend to watch the over dramatic romantic movies and obsess for hours about the thought of having that white picket fence house with the kids and the range rover.I’m also a believer of realism so i’m not sure if two people could ever be happy together forever.I find this topic on my mind a lot. I seem to have about twenty views on love and I can’t decide on which one is right but I do know that I’m definitely a lover at heart.

Home is most definitely where the heart is. I love living in Vegas. I appreciate everything about this city. I feel the energy and I can always flow with the vibe. I love the lights at night and the clear skies in the day. I love that you can be out at two in the morning and be completely surrounded by people having a great time. As in every city, there are flaws. Such as waiting in line for two hours to get into a buffet. I believe the flaws only make the city better. Flaws make the city feel real and can make you appreciate all the things you love. Vegas is not only a party town, it is romantic. There are few things that can compare to driving around Vegas in perfect weather with all the windows down, with someone that means a lot to you. Vegas is apart of my heart and soul,I would not be who I am today if it wasn’t for the city of sin.

This has been a huge year for the Miami Dolphins! They had a tough time keeping up last year. However this year they are at the head of the pack. Every Miami game has been amazingand Miami is on a winning streak. Today they played a huge game against the Jets and won with a score of 24-17. Chad Pennington probably has the most interesting story of all of the NFL players. A month before the season started he was dropped by the Jets an picked up by the Dolphins. Luckily this was a very smart move for the Dolphins. Personally I think Miami has a great shot of being in the Superbowl and winning.

Christmas is so close I can almost taste it. I’m super excited about it. On Christmas eve I’m going to see some family and have an awesome dinner. On Christmas my mother is going to come over to where I’m going to be to eat together. I hope she enjoys the gift I got her. She is thinking of traveling this holiday season and I worry about her.

It’s almost that time of the year again…CHRISTMAS! I’m really excited this year. Las Vegas got actual snow last week! It feels more like the holiday season this year. It is nice to have time off of school and work. I’m excited for all the great food and to spend time with people I really care about. I’m also excited for the new year. I was thinking about what my new years resolution should be. I think I’m going to try and get in better shape. I want to start to work out everyday. I can’t believe it is going to be 2009. As they say, time flies. My best friend is graduating this Juneand I will be a junior in college. Summer is still my favorite time of year but Christmas is a close second.

All day I have been watching football! I started watching the Miami Vs. Kansas city at noon. This was the best game of the day. The opening kickoff was ran back fortyyards and then the first play resulted in a touchdown for Miami. This game had more fumbles than I have ever seen. This game was almost as intense as last years Superbowl game when the Giants beat the Colts at the last second. Miami won the game with a score of 38-31. The next game I watched was the Jets Vs. Seattle. They played in a very snowy Washington. Fans were actually throwing snowballs onto the field. This was also an intense game. Seattle took victory over the Jets with a score of 13-3. This was an important game because next week the Jets will play Miami. If Miami wins they will get a spot in the playoffs. Now I am not the hugest football fan but I can get really into the games.

Today Arizona played BYU in the Pioneer Las Vegas bowl. They played at Sam Boyd stadium. Arizona took an early lead with a score of 7-0. This was a very intense game. BYU eventally did catch up. The game had a final score of 31-21 with Arizona as the winners.
